Wrestling has begun!

On October 28th we had Tyson's first wrestling match. He does the folkstyle wrestling until about December. It is always fun to watch him, but it is hard to watch him lose too. He lost him first match, but afterwards he came up to me and said, "Mom that was way fun." He didn't even care that he lost. He was smiling the whole time he was wrestling too. I am glad that he loves wrestling so much. While watching him it is really hard not to yell at him along with his Dad and the coaches. Although the way that his coaches were yelling it kind of reminded me of my Dad. HAHAHA. Love ya Dad.

Baker Halloween Party.

On Monday we did Family Home Evening with the rest of the Baker's we had a Halloween party. The kids totally had a blast. It was fun watching them with their cousins, carve pumpkins, and bob for apples. I think that was the funnest to watch.

My Hubby Tag!!!!

Okay I got tagged to do this. I like the idea of letting people get to know Jeb a little better.

1. Where did you meet?

We met at a dance club in Idaho Falls. He had just gotten home from his fireschool and was doing his two week drill and some of his friends talked him into going to this dance club even though he really didn't want to. I am sure glad that they did.

2. How long did you date before you were married?

We dated eight months.

3. How long have you been married?

We have been married for seven years. WOW that has gone by fast. It doesn't feel like that long. It has been a lot of fun.

4. What does he do that surprises you?

He is so expressive to our kids of how much he loves them. He can go from being upset to totally in a good mood and playing with the kids. He will call every once in a while and just tell me that he misses me.

5. What is your favorite feature of his?

His smile and his blue eyes. I can't stay very mad at him when he smiles at me.

6. What is your favorite quality of his?

I have a couple of qualities. He is a peacemaker when there is fighting going on. He has gotten a lot of patience. He is such a people person. He loves making friends and is so easy to be around. He helps all around the house. If he sees that I am having a bad day then he makes dinner for the family to give me a break. He'll get up in the middle of night when he have new babies. Since Tyson has been in school he'll try to be the one that goes to the school to help out.

7. Does he have a nickname for you?

He just calls me sweetheart.

8. Does he have a favorite color?

His favorite color is blue.

9. What is his favorite food?

I think that it is spaghetti. Of course he likes steak and porkchops.

10. What is his favorite sport?

Well I would say that he doesn't have one, but lately he likes to watch football. Oh ya, he does like Nascar too.

11. When was your first kiss?

I think that is was the night after we met. Yes I know it was kind of quick.

12. Favorite thing to do as a couple?

We love to play video games together. We like to play card games and board games, and watch movies.

13. Do you have any children?

We have Tyson who is 7, Eric who is 5, and Ella who is 2. They are so much fun even if they are a handful. I love them all.

14. Does he have a hidden talent?

He is actually pretty crafty. He likes to build things. He is not too bad with decorating either. He helped decorate the boys cakes. He helps me decorate for the holidays. Now he's not as good as Nick and Dustin, but still I think that he does pretty good.

15. How old is he?

He is 27.

16. Who said I love you first?

He wanted to, but I wouldn't let him. I had to be the one to say it first.

17. What's his favorite music?

He loves rock. He absolutely hates country. It makes him sick to his stomach. Or so he says.

18. What do you admire most about him?

How much he helps me around the house. What a wonderful father he is becoming. How he puts other people before himself. How he can calm me down when I am really upset. What a really hard worker he is.

19. Do you think that he will read this?

I don't know. Only if I am doing something on the blog and sees that I wrote something about him.

Why are my boys getting so big???

Today is my big boys birthday. It is so hard for me to think that he is seven now. Tyson is just growing up way too fast. I can't believe that next year he will be getting baptized. It just seems like yesterday that I was just wishing that he would learn to walk and talk. WOW, how I regret wishing any of that. I do hope that he enjoyed his day. We just had kind of a small family party because Jeb had to go to drill tonight. So here are his pictures now.

Tyson actually had to blow out his candles twice because Ella kept helping him. The second time she still helped him but he didn't catch it. She actually blew them out for him. It was so funny she would just look at us and say "Phoo!" It was so cute and innocent of course Tyson didn't think so. Happy Birthday Bud! We are so proud of you.

Eric is 5!!

Yesterday my little boy turned five years old. I can't believe how much he has grown. It just doesn't seem that long ago since he was a baby. It was a fun day though. We took treats to Tyson's class for his birthday since they don't have school for the rest of the week. Then Grandma Baker took all the kids out for a while so that I could get some stuff done before our party that night. Eric got lots of presents. He was so happy to finally have his birthday. When he got up yesterday I told him happy birthday and he looks at me and says "My birthday? Where?" It was so funny. He has turned into quite the character. We made him a black spiderman cake and he loved it. Although everyone that ate it had black teeth. It was so fun to laugh at everyone's teeth. It was a fun night. Thanks to everyone who came and called to wish him a Happy Birthday.

Our puppy is getting better!!!

Okay so I think that Saffira has finally adjusted to us. She is doing so much better. We only have two holes in our new grass and she isn't jumping on the kids very much anymore. She has calmed down alot. Tyson loves to play with her. Eric is doing better. Ella is doing tons better, she'll actually go and pet her now. I am glad that she wasn't a new puppy when my parents gave her to us. She has done really good. It was just those first few days that were really hard. But we love her now. I think we'll keep her.

Early birthday present for the boys.

After the spud day fair on Saturday we drove to Pocatello to meet my parents. They had got our boys an early birthday present. It was a female black lab. The first couple of days she was really cute, not so much anymore. Jeb and the boys love her, but I think that me and Ella hold the same opinion of her. The boys just love to run with her and throw things to her. She follows Jeb around all the time when he's outside. I tried to name her Sammy. Well that name lasted for about 5 hours, then Tyson changed it to Safirra (Suffeera). If any of you have watched Eragon or read the books that is the name of his dragon. She is fun when she's not being naughty, which is like never right now. I just have to keep reminding myself that Jeb and the boys absolutely adore her. We do really love her Mom and Dad. THANKS.
