BYU-I Military Ball

OH MY GOSH!! So much freaking fun! I have not laughed or smiled this much in a long time. By the end of the night my cheeks were so sore from all the smiling and laughing that we did. It was a new experience, but so much fun. I am already looking forward to this next year. A night away from the kids and all dressed up and feeling good. There was something there called the grog bowl and boy was it fun watching some of the guys drink from it. A lot of them almost vomited. I don't know what all they put it there but it was gross. It was funny watching people come up with infractions to get the guys sent to the grog bowl and hearing their limericks to get out of drinking from it. After last night I really want Jeb to keep this job. I love the group he works with and the cadets are really funny. I didn't take too many pictures cause Jeb kind of stuck us in a corner so I couldn't see too well. The DJ was awesome. He took four guys into the kitchen and made them put different hats on and then played the YMCA. They came out dancing. It was so fun to watch. I haven't had this much fun in a really long time.

Getting Christmas trees

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we go and get trees with Jeb's family and then go swimming afterwards. It was a lot of walking around holding Conner though. He's light until you have to hike through snow with him in your arms. We had fun though.

Thanksgiving!!!

I can't believe that the holidays are here. I love this time of year. I am so grateful for so many things. I am grateful for our families and the bonds that we have and are building together. For our health. For our newest member to our family this year and our older children and the fun and challenges that they bring into our home. I am ever so grateful for the gospel in our lives. I think we would be so empty without it. I do hope that everyone out there had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I love to get together with family. My Mom and Dad watched all the grandkids while the parents went out Black Friday shopping. I love doing it. I have so much fun dragging Jeb everywhere. We missed two little brothers Chris, who was in California, and Alex, who is in Argentina. My oldest brother Ben is getting ready to leave to Brazil so we will miss him for Christmas. But we did get to spend time with Jus, Pao, Lucas, Ben, and Mom and Dad. We had so much fun playing games and just chatting.

Our first Snowfall!

I always love the first snowfall of the season. We pulled out the hot chocolate maker and had it running for two days straight. Jeb and Ella went outside to play in the snow. Jeb got cold first and tried to get Ella to come inside, but she was such a die hard she just kept going. By the time that she came inside her cheeks were so rosy and cold. They threw snowballs at the house and made snow angels all over the yard. It was really cute watching them play together.

The Last Warm Day

At the beginning of November it was quite warm so Tara invited me to go to the park with her and Ronalee. All I had was Ella and Conner. Collin showed up later to hang out and it was a ton of fun. I had a blast just taking pictures. We played on the playground, chatted, and joked. Ella had so much fun playing with Ashtyn and Jaxon.

Halloween Night.

So after the baptism we had a while to relax and clean up. Then we went over to Ronalee's Trunk or Treat. Then we came back and Jeb took the kids with our neighbor Richard Taylor and his two kids out to go Trick or Treating. They had so much fun and came home with a ton of candy. At the Trunk or Treat Eric got done before everyone else and decided to go around a second time. His bag was so full of candy by the time we got back we had to dump his bag out before they went around the neighborhood. This is the only picture that I could get them to take.

Halloween and Tyson's Baptism

Saturday we baptized Tyson. Yes it was Halloween too. It was such a good day. We were surrounded by family and friends and we really felt loved by everyone that came. Tyson was so excited to get baptized. I just can't believe that eight years has flown by so fast. I was doing just fine until after him and Jeb were getting dressed to do the confirmation. Jeb did such a good job. I am so proud of Tyson and his decisions that he is making. He is such a joy in our family. I am so grateful that he is an example to Jeb and I on a continual basis. He is already talking about turning 12 and passing the sacrament. I just hope that the next eight years don't go by as fast as the last eight years have gone.

Ella decided that she wasn't going to be left out of pictures.

First Cereal

Four months has flown by so fast. We decided to start Conner on some baby cereal. He is such a good eater, but I don't think that he likes this. Everytime he gets it the faces are the same as the first time.

Pumpkin Carving Time

The Monday before Halloween we were suppose to go out to Matt and Tara's house, but because we had a couple of kids that had been sick over the last few days we decided to keep the sickness to ourselves and stay home to do our pumpkin carving. We were really bummed because it sounds like they had a ton of fun at their Halloween party. It was fun to help the kids carve their pumpkins and Ella had a ton of fun just stabbing holes in the pumpkin. Eric thought it was great cause he could hold of knife. Tyson wasn't feeling so good, but he still wanted to his own too.

Pumpkin Patch

We decided for one of our Family Home Evenings we would go to the pumpkin patch and let the kids play and pick their pumpkins. We didn't stay very long cause it was freezing cold, but we had a lot of fun too. The kids loved the maze but instead of staying on the ground they would run on the hay bales. Poor Conner got stuck in the van cause it was just too cold for him outside.

Tyson's 8th birthday!

Okay so I know I said I can't believe that Eric is six already, but come on I don't feel old enough to have an eight year old. This year is so big for him. He is getting baptized on Halloween. Which I think is so funny. We let him have a party too. He invited some friends and they had a pinata and we rented a bounce house. It was so fun. The adults even got to play in it after the kids went home. We had a blast with it.

Conner is 3 months already!

My baby or my caboose as we call him is already 3 months old. I can't believe it. Time flies by so fast. I just want him to be a baby forever and ever. We feel so blessed with him in our family.
