Our puppy is getting better!!!

Okay so I think that Saffira has finally adjusted to us. She is doing so much better. We only have two holes in our new grass and she isn't jumping on the kids very much anymore. She has calmed down alot. Tyson loves to play with her. Eric is doing better. Ella is doing tons better, she'll actually go and pet her now. I am glad that she wasn't a new puppy when my parents gave her to us. She has done really good. It was just those first few days that were really hard. But we love her now. I think we'll keep her.

Early birthday present for the boys.

After the spud day fair on Saturday we drove to Pocatello to meet my parents. They had got our boys an early birthday present. It was a female black lab. The first couple of days she was really cute, not so much anymore. Jeb and the boys love her, but I think that me and Ella hold the same opinion of her. The boys just love to run with her and throw things to her. She follows Jeb around all the time when he's outside. I tried to name her Sammy. Well that name lasted for about 5 hours, then Tyson changed it to Safirra (Suffeera). If any of you have watched Eragon or read the books that is the name of his dragon. She is fun when she's not being naughty, which is like never right now. I just have to keep reminding myself that Jeb and the boys absolutely adore her. We do really love her Mom and Dad. THANKS.

Spud Day Fair!!

Saturday was the Spud Day Fair. It usually is really fun, but this year it totally rained on us. We were all soaking wet and cold by the time that we left. This year all the kids got to do the races. I only didn't get any pictures of Eric because I was standing in line for the bathrooms with Kade and Tyson. But here is what I got. All in all it was a pretty fun day. Even though we didn't get a lot of fair food.

Ella picked up a few potatoes, but after seeing the mud on her hands didn't want to do anymore. She just kept saying, "Wash hands."

Scissors!!!!

So a lot of you already know that Ella and Eric got a hold of the scissors. Now they are sporting the same haircut. Needless to say that Eric looks fine (he's a boy and it doesn't affect him), Ella on the other hand looks just like her brother now. So here are the pictures.

Cucumber's, our favorite!!!!

Me and Jeb's favorite food in the summer is cucumbers in vinegar. The kids wanted to try some the other night and we got some really funny pictures of them. Jeb and I couldn't stop laughing, but the kids kept right on eating them too. Eric's faces are the best.

State Fair in Blackfoot

Last night Jeb and I decided to take the kids to the fair. It was so much fun too. The kids just loved all the animals and I don't think that they could get enough rides either. Although there weren't very many rides that they boys were tall enough to get on.
The boys just loved petting all the animals that they could. Ella on the other hand would touch once and try to get away from it after that.

We actually got her to pet a couple of animals. She liked the goats after a while.
We got all of them to pet one of the horses after a couple of tries.
Tyson really wanted to pet the emu. We got him to feed the ostriches, but they bit him going for the food.
Ella feeding the goats
These two goats started fighting over the food and Ella dropped it and ran.

Ella actually pet this puppy and then she tried to yank it through the gate.

The boys were really cute on this ride, but we really thought that Eric was going to get sick when it started going faster and faster and faster. Luckily he didn't.
