Spud Day Fair
Every year we go to the spud day fair in Shelley. This year we went to the derby too. I haven't been to one in so long. I had a ton of fun at it though. This year was rain free. Last year we totally got drenched. The kids all played on the rides and ran around like crazy. At the derby there was a tug of war contest. Jeb's sister, Ronalee and her husband Troy participated in it. Right before they had the contest they sprayed the arena down with water. It was quite fun to watch them tug against each other. I'm not sure who won, but they both came out dirty.

Skyler's Baptism
Our nephew Skyler got baptized on the 12th of September. It was so fun to see him be baptized. I just can't believe that just over 8 years ago Ronalee and I were expecting Skyler and Tyson. WOW how time flies. Pretty soon Tyson will be getting baptized too.

Family Drill
Every year Jeb's unit has a family drill or they use to on a regular basis. This year it was at Green Canyon. Usually it's in August, but this year it was in September and boy is it cold at night up there. We had a ton of fun. The kids went swimming I just pretty much hung out with Conner and gabbed with all the other wives. We made new friends and caught up with old ones. It was one of the best family drills that we have had in a long time. When we got home we were all really worn out. Luckily Conner is a good camping baby and slept all night long.
Jeb swimming with the kids
Eric found these flippers and he looked so cute trying to walk around in them that I just had to take a picture.
I think that Skip was all the kids favorite to play with.
These are the most nasty little things. All the kids decided to have a cockleburr throwing war. Needless to say when we got home I was picking them out of everything.
This is how Ella slept the majority of the way home. Poor thing she was totally worn out.

Catching up
I know it's been a while since I have posted anything so I am getting all caught up with what has happened with us. We have had a really fun summer and can't believe that fall is sneaking up on us so quickly. It has been a crazy summer and having four kids to take care of can keep me really busy. Conner is so much fun he is so smiley and happy. He loves to be talked to, but not held a whole lot though. We just blessed him this last Sunday. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures. So now that I am all caught up I will try to stay on top of things that are going on with us.

Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa Baker
A couple of weeks ago we went out to Jeb's parent's house to help out with some stuff. Afterward we decided to go to Rigby Lake. It was really warm air, but with all the cloud cover it was really cold. The kids had fun though. It was hard to get them to leave.
It looks like Jeb is trying to drown Eric, but he is really trying to help him swim.

First Day of School
Tyson and his friend Zach
Eric walking Tyson to the bus stop
I can't believe that I am now sending two kids to school. It is kind of weird just having Ella and Conner at home now. Although I babysit some days too. I was just fine with Eric going to school until I took him to his kindergarten class. Of course when I picked him up he was crying because he wanted to take all of his school supplies home. Here are some funny things that Eric has said since school has started. "Mom don't pick me up from school till I learn to write my name."
Tyson: Eric you can't sleep at school you'll be lonely"
Eric: "Don't worry about me I'll take my pillow and blanket."
We were filling out a packet for the other kids to get to know Eric and he had just started learning about the colors that day.
Mom: "Eric what is your favorite food?"
Eric: "Brown"
Mom: No what do you like to eat?
Eric: Brown and pink.
Mom: No not colors Eric what kind of food do you like to eat?
Eric: UMM spaghetti.
Mom: What else
Eric: Brown umm meatballs
Mom: What is your favorite animal
Eric: Purple
Mom: Stop saying the colors and tell me what your favorite animals are. Lion, Zebra, Tiger, Bear, Dog, Cat what animal do you like.
Eric: Pink
I'm really getting frustrated with him at this point.
Mom: Eric tell me an animal
Eric: Alright a Zebra.
He has been totally cracking us up the whole time Jeb was is the corner just laughing harder and harder with everything that he was telling me. We finally got the packet filled out.

Another hot day
We decided to get the big roll of plastic out again and this time I decided to participate. It was so much fun playing with everybody. A couple of times I knocked the wind out of me jumping onto the slide.

Ella's owie
Ella came running in from outside and kept saying that she broke daddy's nail. Come to find out she stepped on it. It went all the way through her shoe and into her foot just under her big toe.
These are the shoes that she was wearing
Her foot was pretty swollen by the time that I took this picture

So we had Jeb's big Baker reunion to go to. JEb was in charge of doing the obstacle course. The kids brought bikes because it was like a really big parking lot where they all camped. We just went up for Saturday but all the kids had a ton of fun.
