Fourth of July Fireworks

So the day we got home from the hospital we went down to our neighbors to have a barbecue and do fireworks. It was really fun and the kids had a blast. They had been waiting for Jeb to light off fireworks for them for quite a few weeks now. So we were glad that we could go and do it with some friends too. It was nice to visit and watch all the fireworks. We were lucky enough to be able to see all the fireworks from the greenbelt from the Webb's backyard.

Conner Wyatt Baker

So here he is. We had Conner on July 1st at 7:53 in the morning. And yes he was a whopping 9 lbs. and 11 0z. I about died when they announced how big he was, but was also so happy that he was healthy. He started crying as soon as they pulled him out, but he is such a mellow baby now. We are so happy to have him in our family. He is such a joy and Tyson, Eric, and Ella all love him. The first day home they had a fight over who's room he was going to sleep in. Ella is constantly asking to hold "her baby Conner". We have had so much fun with him home. Of course the day we got home it was the 4th of July so we also had to do some fireworks. The kids had so much fun while all I did was sit and hold Conner. It was nice to have an excuse to be lazy.

Just two more days HOORAY!!!

Okay so for those of you that don't know, we are having our baby on July 1st. We go in at 5:30 in the morning to get ready and the C-section is scheduled for 7:30. I am so excited, nervous, worried, you know all the emotions rolled into one. I am into my cleaning spree right now. Trying to get all the last minute things done before we go in. I just was really wondering if this day would ever come. So hopefully later this week we will have some pictures posted up for everyone to see. I just want to say thanks to everyone for checking in on me and the kids all the time.

Just two more weeks!

Just two more weeks until we go to have our baby. I don't think that it can go by fast enough. Of course right now I am counting down until Jeb gets home on Saturday. I am trying to stay busy by cleaning our house. We'll see, I am kind of getting burnt out of cleaning. Everything is going great other than Jeb being gone. I am starting to dialate so we'll see if I make it the next two weeks. I probably will though.

Eric is doing great. We are keeping up on his medicine. For all of those that were wondering and I haven't gotten to yet, his blood tests came back clear. So we are just going to keep giving him antibiotics. I do want to thank everyone for checking in on us and bringing us meals and watching the kids and especially our home teachers that mowed our lawn and weeded our flower beds. I do feel so truly blessed live in the ward that we live in and to have the neighbors that we have too.

35 weeks and 2 days

So I went to the doctor. Everything looks good other than I am not dialating or softening. It kind of bums me out, but at the same time with Jeb leaving for two weeks I am glad that nothing is going on. We have scheduled the date. July 1st for sure unless the hospital has a conflict. I am measuring right on with my dates now. Which makes me feel better too. Now I am down to weekly visits so I guess we'll see what goes on the next couple of weeks.

Ella's 3rd birthday

Yesterday was Ella's third birthday. We had so much fun this weekend. Everytime someone would tell Ella Happy Birthday she would say Happy Dirday back to them. It was so cute. She was so excited. We went to Pocatello to eat out with my Mom, Dad, and brother Alex. It was so much fun to see them and spend some time with them. Then we had a barbecue that night. She has to carry around all of her new toys everywhere. I can't believe that she is already 3 years old.

The boys just had to pose with her.
